Martin Cradick (future founder of Baka Beyond) and Graham "Dr Didge" Wiggins were making a good living playing music on the streets of London and other British cities when producer Joe Boyd discovered them.
The title track "Baka" was inspired by Phil Aglands TV film about the Baka Pygmies of the Cameroon rain forest. A few years later Martin Cradick went to Cameroon to learn more about their music. This led to the formation of Baka Beyond in 1993.
