Johnny Pull is a Scottish teenager with a vivid imagination, passionate about drawing and creating comic book stories. While living in Dornie with his mother, Johnny finds inspiration in his daily life and local legends, such as the mysterious tale of Eilean Donan castle. During a school excursion, he encounters a vision that links reality with the mythical world of his drawings. Together with his friends Michael and Vicky, Johnny discovers a hidden, invisible book of legends that acts as a rite of passage, leading them toward a parallel universe called Lagon, where they must complete a heroic task left unfinished by a fallen knight.
