JARRÓN PIERREFONDS ART DECO EMILE BOUILLON

Excepcional jarrón Art Dèco en cerámica esmaltada. Forma facetada en forma de pera con asas geométricas. Esmaltado con cristalizaciones en azul y verde sobre fondo beige, con porosidades del horneado.

Marcado en inciso, F h (La Faïence Héraldique), un yelmo, y “PIERREFONDS”

Pierrefonds: Fábrica de cerámica fundada en esa ciudad de Francia en 1903.

En 1912, comienza a producir un grés famoso por su cristalizaciones en azul, creaciones del ceramista Emile Bouillon.

Tiene su apogeo en el período de entreguerras. Finalmente cierra en 1978

Large Vase Pierrefonds Ceramic Crystallized Enamels Art Deco 1920’s

A faceted pear shaped ceramic vase from the Pierrefonds Faïencerie Héraldique, with an enamelled cover showing a blue-green cristalised spills on beige background. Stamped "FH Pierrefonds" under the base plus helmet signature.

The beginning of the crystallized enamel technique dates from the end of the 19th century and was discovered by accident. This crystallization gives a surprisingly beautiful decor, evoking a starry or flowery sky .Used at the time of the ART NOUVEAU. This technique was also used later by the ART DECO and BAHAUS. This type of crystallized enamel was abandoned after the war because it was too uncertain.
